Salone del Mobile.Milano, the world’s largest furniture trade fair held every April in Milan, Italy (held from April 16th to 21st in 2024)
Milano Salone is one of the world’s largest exhibitions, attracting a variety of brands and manufacturers of furniture, interior accessories, office furniture, lighting, etc. from all over the world, and is visited by many buyers and industry professionals every year.
I participated in 2019, and every year around this time, I feel the excitement and emotion of Salone del Milano, the Margherita and tiramisu I ate in Milan, the Bolognese I ate in Bologna, the espresso I drank at Malpensa Airport, the beautiful Milanese made by beautiful men and women. Reminds me of. I don’t remember much about work though…
The trade fair itself is held in a large exhibition center called Fiera Milano, Rho, on the outskirts of Milan.
At the same time, exhibitions by companies and designers called “Milan Design Week” will be held everywhere in Milan, making the entire city a festival of design.

As I was looking at the exhibit, I really felt that these four points are the basis of furniture. Then, we bring the materials and forms from classic, modern, or natural. I feel like that is changing over time.
This experience at Milano Salone may have made me fall in love with furniture and interior design even more, and gave me a modern perspective.
Even though I thought about selecting furniture while remembering Salone del Milano, all I remembered was the delicious food…
